Cut 4 3" squares from color A
Cut 4 3" squares from color B

Cut 4 3.5" squares from color C
Cut 2 3.5" squares from color B
Cut 2 3.5" squares from color A
Cut these 3.5" squares on the diagonal to form triangles

Sew together 4 C+B triangles to form a 3" square
Sew together 4 A+C triangles to form a 3" square
