A = Dark (dark blue)
B = Medium (medium blue)
C = Medium (purple)
D = Light (white)

Cut 4 3.5" squares of color A (dark blue)
Cut 4 3.5" squares of color B (medium blue)
Cut 2 3.5" squares of color C (purple)
Cut 6 3.5" squares of color D (white)

Cut these 3.5" squares on the diagonals to make triangles
Sew together 8 sets of triangles using colors A+D (Dark blue & White)
Sew together 4 sets of triangles using colors B+D (Medium Blue & White)
Sew together 4 sets of triangles using colors B+C (Medium Blue & Purple)

These should make 3" squares

Arrange squares in the pattern shown above and sew together the blocks to make the Tippicanoe block.
