After
Hours Outage Reporting
If you call the office after
normal office hours to report an outage or for Internet tech support, you
will reach our after hours dispatch service. First, the recording will
acknowledge that you've reached Bon Homme Yankton Electric and inform the
caller of our office hours. Then you will be asked to type in your home
phone number just in case the phone you are calling from is not in our
records. The next step is to choose number 1 if you've been disconnected
for non-payment, 2 to report an outage or 3 for other. Use option 3 for
Internet tech support or to leave a message for the office.

Members Beware!
We received a report
from an electric customer that someone gained entry to their home pretending
to be from the electric company. Please know that all of Bon Homme
Yankton Electric's trucks are marked with our logo and all outside employees
wear uniforms with their name and B-Y Electric prominently displayed. Contact
the Sheriff's department to report suspicious activity. |
